Jennifer Garner has landed a small role in Steven Spielberg's catch Me IF You Can. She will apparently play a call girl, who catches the eye of Leonardo Dicapio's character Frank Abagnale. Garner will complete her work on 'Catch' on May 1st of this year, before she takes up the role of Elektra in the much anticapated Daredevil movie opposite Ben Affleck. Catch Me If You Can has already started shooting in and around Los Angeles.

Catch Me If You Can is a true story based on the book Catch Me If You Can: The Amazing True Story of the Most Extraordinary Liar by Frank Abagnale Jnr, the youngest man to be put on the FBI's most wanted list. The film will be set in the 1960's when Abagnale was between the ages of 16 and 21, the five years that he was on the run.

In the role of Abagnale is Leonardo DiCaprio who we haven't seen on screen since The Beach (Gangs Of New York is out in the Spring). Tom Hanks plays FBI agent Joe Shaye, Abagnale's relentless pursuer. Also joining the impressive cast is Christopher Walken who plays Abagnale's con man father along with Amy Adams who'll play his love interest. Veteran Martin Sheen will assume the role of her father.

We're told that shooting has just started on the movie in Los Angeles (February 11th).
