Page created. An ensemble brit-flick with a large budget.
British cast, British director (Apted) and British producer
(Mick Jagger, yes Rolling Stone's Mick Jagger). Combine that
with the score by John Barry and the script by Shakespeare
In Love scribe Tom Stoppard and you've got to be onto a winner.
The test screenings have been positive so things are looking
good, with three different distributers in the bidding to
handle the move (Miramax, Manhattan Pictures International
and Paramount Classics). Now I haven't found too much about
the film as of yet but I'm working on it. I have some pics
on the way too, so expect them in a couple of days. I did
find however a couple of script reviews, one over at CHUD
and the other at IGN
Film Force. The Internet Movie Database have also posted
a few user ratings, check
those out too. They've also posted a few short reviews
(seen mostly at this years Sundance), one reviewer even goes
as far to say "Hitchcock could have directed this!"
If you're interested, there are two user comments posted
at the site. Enjoy.
